Opportunities For Kids

Dual-Format Racing

History Preservation

The World Pro Skiing Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Public Charity with the goal of helping financially disadvantaged kids to ski and ski race.  WPSF will reach out to grassroots programs around the world where it can make a difference in a child’s life as well as the sport of ski racing.  Furthermore, WPSF will promote the style of dual-format ski racing, as popularized by the World Pro Ski Tour founded by Bob Beattie.  In doing so, WPSF will maintain historical records of World Pro Skiing.

Bob Beattie, who coached the NCAA Champion University of Colorado, the US Ski Team and Olympic Teams, co-created the World Cup, founded World Pro Skiing, built NASTAR, and during his 40-plus-years as America’s premier ski racing commentator helped bring the sport into the living rooms of tens of millions of people said: of all his tremendous accomplishments, he is most proud of helping kids get on skis who would not have had the opportunity otherwise.  The World Pro Skiing Foundation is humbled to have Bob Beattie as a member of its board of directors and seeks to follow in his footsteps by creating and supporting programs that allow kids the opportunity to ski and race.

The Board will meet 2 times per annum to evaluate funding requests and in turn determine where and how the funds will be distributed.
